Riverside Community Church has a long-standing commitment to global missions, sending over 30 teams to partner with the National Foursquare Church of Costa Rica. As a dedicated sending church, Riverside proudly supports Canadian Foursquare Associate Missionary Lana Davidson, who serves alongside her Costa Rican husband, Jonathan, and their two sons.
Our partnership with Costa Rica Missions continues to thrive through short-term mission teams and the Costa Rica Kids School Sponsorship Program, providing educational opportunities and support to children in need.
Heart for The Harvest 2025
On Monday, December 15th, 2025, we gathered for Heart for the Harvest, a powerful evening filled with vision, gratitude, and celebration. Pastor Lana and Pastor Jon shared inspiring updates about all that God is doing in Costa Rica through the CR Kids missions.
The night was filled with incredible testimonies—stories of lives transformed, families impacted, and children experiencing the love of Jesus in tangible ways. It was a deeply encouraging time for every donor, partner, and supporter who has invested in the mission of CR Kids.
We left reminded that our collective generosity is making a real difference, and the work in Costa Rica continues to grow because of faithful hearts like yours.

At Riverside Community Church, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn and thrive. Costa Rica Kids is a School Sponsorship Program dedicated to providing needy children with the essentials they need to attend public school—uniforms, backpacks, school supplies, and shoes.
Every January, we reach over 1,000 children across 30 communities in central and eastern Costa Rica, including Turrialba, Limon, and Perez areas. Working alongside the Costa Rica Missions Council, we visit these communities, assess the needs of the children, and extend care to them and their families.

For just $125 per year, you can sponsor a child, equipping them with everything needed to attend school and build a brighter future.
